Product Showcase: Toilets

You already know that our specialty is European cabinetry, but were you aware that we offer other products, too? We do! So, over the course of the next few weeks, we'll be showing off our other products and teaching you a little bit about each one.

For this week, we've decided to discuss our toilet collection.

At Demetra, we carry two main brands of toilets: Toto and Duravit.

Toto

Toto toilets cost a little more than other brands, but that's because the quality of their products is so high. There are usually sales throughout the year and, many times, the company offers permanent two-toilet bundles with their most popular styles.

Since its inception, Toto has constantly re-defined what a bathroom can look and feel like. By pushing the boundaries of looks and technology, Toto toilets are second-to-none.

Duravit

Like Toto, Duravit toilets tend to cost a little bit more than your standard run-of-the-mill toilet. A lot of this has to do with their ability to create high-efficiency toilets that can flush at less than 1.3 gallons per flush.

Duravit demonstrates how geometry, fluid mechanics and design can be successfully combined for maximum efficiency. Thanks to the open, easily accessible rim area, the bowl is particularly easy to keep clean, and this reduces cleaning times considerably.
